How to play
A trivia game for 3โ6 players. You score for knowing answers, for predicting how many players know them, and for betting on whether specific players know them. Everyone plays on their own device; no accounts needed.
Roles
๐ค Question Asker: one player per round. They read the five questions out loud and run the reveal (settling bets and moving on), but otherwise play normally. The role moves one player to the left each round.
๐ฟ First Bet Totem: the totem holder bets (or skips) first on a question. It starts with the player to the Question Asker's left and moves left after every question.
1. Ask and answer
Each round deals a card of five questions from the question packs the host picked. They come one at a time: for each question, write your answer and how many players will answer correctly (0 up to the number of players, counting yourself). Your board stays hidden. You can change your answer until everyone has locked in, then the next question appears.
2. Bet and reveal, one question at a time
- Bet. Starting with the totem holder and going left, each player either
places one of their unused tokens on another player or skips:
- โ Knows: "this player got it right"
- โ Doesn't Know: "this player got it wrong"
- Reveal. The answer is shown, along with everyone's answer to this question only. Each player confirms whether they got it right; the app suggests a verdict, but the table decides on spelling and partial answers (the Question Asker or host can overrule).
- Settle. A right bet: the bettor keeps the token as +1. A wrong bet: the player who was bet on takes it as +1.
You have one โ and one โ token for the whole round, so at most two bets. Betting is optional and skipping costs nothing.
3. Score
| Each correct answer | +1 |
| Each exactly right "how many" guess | +1 |
| Each +1 token you hold (any colour, silver included) | +1 |
Then everyone's boards are revealed and the Question Asker role moves left.
๐ฅ Catch-up tokens
At the start of each round the player in sole last place gets an extra silver Knows / Doesn't Know pair for that round. If two or more players are tied for last (as in round 1), nobody gets them.
End of game
Play rounds until someone reaches the target (30 points by default; the host can pick a shorter game). Highest score wins; tied leaders share the win.
Stuck players
Tap Hurry up! to buzz a slow player's device. If someone's device dies, the Question Asker or host can continue without their answers or skip their bet.
